After going through the popular psychology of attraction section in 2knowmyself many people get back to me through email and ask me how to find more information about a person's personality.
I stated clearly in that section that to get someone to like you then you need to figure out what lies in his love map. Because Each person has his own love map finding out what a person is looking for is essential to making him love you.
Let's suppose that you discovered that the person you liked suffered from lack of attention when he was young. In such a case providing that person with enough attention might help you a lot. Of course that's just a very simple example and to get results you need to match the whole love map after getting a deep understanding of it.
Now the 1 million dollar question is, how to find more information about a person so that you can figure out his love map?
The first fact you need to know is that this information , or at least most of it, is already publicity available. When asked to collect more information about a person most people think that they need to reach out for some of that person's deepest secrets, and while that works, still there is a lot that you can find by simply observing the person.
The reason you can't get a hold of the information which is already available to public is that you don't know how to analyze it. let me give you a simple example for the sake of demonstration:
Let's assume a Woman put that quote on her Facebook "You don't love someone for their looks, or their clothes, or for their fancy car, but because they sing a song only you can hear."
From that quote its very obvious that this girl has a serious unmet need that she is looking for and that if she found it she will overlook looks and money. But can i say that this is fact?
No, i can only confirm that my findings are facts when other pieces of information point in the same direction.(see also Why do people behave the way they do)
Now let's suppose that 2 weeks later the same woman posted a quote on twitter that says "Love is not about how much you say 'I love you', but how much you can prove that it's true love".
Now it's obvious that this woman is looking for love for the sake of being loved. If in addition to this you found her speaking negatively about her Dad then you can put the pieces together by assuming that this girl is looking for unconditional love because her did didn't provide her with it.
In my book How to make someone fall in love with you i said that in order to attract that woman you just need to resemble her dad's attitude, personality or looks and provide her with the need she was deprived of.
The information you are looking for is already leaking through every word that your target says and every action that they take. It's just that you don't have enough knowledge to see between the lines.
Everything a person does, loves, says, shares, mentions, talks about, hates and interacts with can reveal tons of information about them. The science of collecting the right information about a person is all about understanding how to read this information and put it together to come up with some meaningful conclusions.
